Friar Cocktail & Award Ceremony - Saturday, November 13, 2021
Location: Gregory Gym Aquatic Complex Poolside, 2101 Speedway, Austin, TX 78712
Time: TBD - depending on the UT vs. Kansas football game. If the game begins at 2pm CST or later, Cocktails will begin 2.5 hours before kickoff. If the game begins at 11am or 2pm CST, please join us for the Cocktails immediately after the game.
Attire: Gameday attire
What: The ceremony will honor the following awardees: Fall 2021 initiates for their significant contributions to UT Austin, a staff member or administrator (TBD: nominations close on October 22, 2021) will receive the Tany Norwood Award for their outstanding contribution to student life, and the Fall 2021 alumni awardee (TBD)will be honored with the Distinguished Alumni Award for embodying the Friar Society's core values of history, service and honor.
An RSVP is required for every person attending, plus their email address and phone number. Each Friar may bring one guest. There is no charge for this event.
